The company is founded in 2017 by Jimmy Bak as a spin-off from the Technical University of Denmark (DTU).
In the following years the company have been busy with development of prototypes of UVC light source and UVC light-guide. This has been followed by proof of concept and a 6-log unit reduction of selected pathogens inside endotracheal tubes and CVC extension line tube part (in vitro).
In 2021 Rolf H. Sprunk-Jansen takes over the majority of the shares and becomes Chief Executive Officer focusing on making a world-class medical device together with founder Jimmy Bak.

Responsible for general management, commercial & strategic development. Rolf, M.Sc. Business, is a well-rounded business executive with extensive international experience within commercial development of high-tech products and technology companies.
Previous, Rolf co-founded and lead the high-tech company LED iBond from its transition from start-up to a listed company on NASDAQ First North. He still remains one of main shareowner of the company.

Jimmy has a M. Sc. in chemistry and physics and a Master degree in applied statistics. Background in spectroscopy and optics at Risø National Lab and DTU (Technical University of Denmark).
With his strong and broad academic background, Jimmy has started the scientific work with UV-C LED disinfection in the clinical area. He has published several scientific papers.

Private equity investor and startup-companies entrepreneur, founder, and principal as well.
Joined the European Investment Bank (EIB) in 1987 where he has been responsible for financing operations in different countries: Italy, France, United Kingdom, Morocco, Portugal, Spain. This included finance projects for Airbus, Euro Disney program and the Euro Tunnel. Further, in JASPERS (joint EIB/EU/EBRD Commission initiative) he was Country manager for Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Malta, extending later as well to Poland, Czech Republic and Baltic States (Estonia, Lithuania, and Latvia).
5 years in COFIDES (Bilateral Promotion Agency of Spain) as General Delegate for Morocco and North Africa., based in Casablanca. Founding partner and Director of APD Morocco. Partner and Vice President of Maderfibra Internacional (industrial wood packaging company) in Spain and Dubai.

Marie-Louise graduated as a doctor from the University of Copenhagen in 1992 and has undergone extensive training at the Copenhagen hospitals in surgery and not least vascular surgery. She became a PhD in 1998, MD. in 2003 and a specialist in vascular surgery in 2008 at Rigshospitalet.
Active in research for almost 30 years and been research-responsible department doctor at Aalborg University Hospital 2009-2012 and Chief Physician of the Varicose veins clinic at Nyborg Hospital under Odense University Hospital 2012-2014.
Since then, she has been in varicose veins clinics in Næstved, Malmø, Gothenburg and Stockholm. Marie-Louise is now running her own veins clinic in Kongens Lyngby, Denmark.
Mette has extensive clinical experience. Since she graduated from Slagelse Nursing School in 1997, Mette has specialized in haemodialysis and nephrology.
She has worked with numerous dialysis catheter generations in clinical settings and has seen the evolution of standards for their maintenance and hygiene.
In 2017, Mette helped establish the self-service haemodialysis unit in a Danish Hospital, where she now serves as the daily manager. She is a dialysis specialist, focusing on planning, teaching, and dialysis treatment of chronic kidney patients under optimal hygienic conditions.
Dr. Bhupendra Gandhi, the leading kidney doctor in India, is a highly respected nephrologist.
M.B.B.S. from Grant Medical College, University of Bombay (1965), American Board of Internal Medicine (1972) and American Board in Subspecialty of Nephrology (1974).
Founded the department of nephrology at Breach Candy Hospital. He is also the Honorary Nephrologist at Sir HN Reliance Foundation and Research Centre. Further, Senior Consultant Nephrologist, Breach Candy Hospital, Mumbai (since 1975).
Dr. Gandhi’s extensive education and significant roles in both the United States and India reflect his dedication and expertise in nephrology. His contributions, particularly in establishing the nephrology department at Breach Candy Hospital, have had a lasting impact on the medical community.
Ganesh is a seasoned professional with an MBA from XIM India and over twenty years of expertise in International Corporate Finance and Investment Banking.
Founding Director of Phoenix Consultancy Enterprises Ltd / Silver Star Capital Services FZE / Griffin Oil FZE and Power Dynamic FZE in Dubai. His career also includes roles at MF Global and Merrill Lynch.

Søren has spent his entire career in plastic, first as an owner/CEO of the family owned Ulstrup Plast, later (after the merger into SP group) as an Executive Vice President at SP Group.
Søren joins the UV Clinical Advisory Board to contribute with comprehensive and hands-on understanding of injection moulding and extrusion supply chain and manufacturing issues and with requirements for plastic based medical devices and development of medical devices in general.
Søren has also joined UV Clinical A/S as an investor.
Gilles Trancart has more than 35 years of experience as top executive in the financial sector.
After a PHD in Economics and Statistics from ENSAE (France), Gilles started his career at the French Central Bank as an inspector, specialised in the supervision of market activities.
As a real entrepreneur, he joined ODDO BHF as general partner and contributed to the fantastic growth of the company with several M&A deals.
With Credit Agricole and Lazard, he got the experience of global position with the management of teams in more than 40 countries, including the US.
Today, Gilles brings his top management experience to several companies as board member or investor in startups.
Gilles is also shareholder of UV Clinical A/S.
Peter Mørch Eriksen has more than 20 years of experience in management and strategy work in the medical technology and life-science industries.
Peter, who has a master’s degree from CBS, has worked as CEO and held other senior positions within BioPorto, Sense, Medtronic, Brüel & Kjær, and with his extensive experience has created growth, restructuring and secured financing in technology-intensive international organizations.
Peter Mørch Eriksen has top management experience in the life-science industry, where he has worked in large listed multinational companies as well as in startups, from which he has extensive experience in strategy work, sales, branding, marketing, finance, and management and contributed to the development of these companies.
